ABOUT THE COMPETITION

We produced Gibraltar's Got Talent for five years. The idea of the show was for Gibraltarians of all ages to showcase their talents to a panel of judges.

This year we decided to bring the talent spotlight back out but this time bigger and with a twist.

The competition is designed as a series for social media which will be then uploaded by episodes, the idea is to promote talents worldwide.

We have a first round of Castings were the talents present themselves and show what they can do to the casting team, hoping to get into the shortlist of 24.

The second round are the Auditions in which the public and judges will choose the 12 semi-finalists which are then categorized into 3 teams mentored by 3 professionals from the industry who will help the acts prepare for the next round.

Semi-finals the 12 artists are reduced to 6 finalists, the public will choose their 2 favourite acts the judges another 2 acts and mentors their final 2 acts.

Then the fourth and final round the Finals, the judges will choose the winner of TALENT FACTOR.

All rounds after castings are done in front of a live audience.

The idea of this show is to encourage talented artists to show off their talents in public, once that is achieved we encourage them to improve, promote, evolve and above all allow themselves to grow as artists and as a person. We realised that although there are a lot of cultural activities in Gibraltar we found that it was very segregated and that under this formulae we combined all sectors of the arts under one roof exposing a varied selection of the arts and culture to an audience all in one show therefore promoting the different arts for example singing, dancing, recitals, poetry, magic etc... adding new talented artists to the already great pool of artists worldwide, there are entertainment spaces within the show of already consolidated artists.
